El astrofotógrafo Andrew McCarthy captó una impactante imagen del paso de un avión comercial frente al Sol tras tomar 1,7 millones de fotos durante seis días.
La imagen se volvió aún más especial porque, justo en el instante del tránsito, también quedaron visibles dos prominencias solares flotantes, un detalle poco común que convirtió la toma en una de las más afortunadas de su trayectoria. McCarthy compartió un video del tránsito.
